More Comments at Google MapBefore visiting the Ōharano Shrine, we stopped at Kissakasuga (喫茶 か寿が) restaurant, in the country side of Minamikasugacho, Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto. The friends I was with, had seen a recommendation for this small Japanese sea food restaurant. Inside was a cozy rural Kyoto atmosphere. We had a lunch set called Kaisen donburi (海鮮丼), which translates to a “bowl of rice topped with sashimi”. They served kona coffee in a vacuum coffee maker and it was soo good. If you’re in the area stop buy and enjoy. It’s reasonably prized between 1.000 and 2.000¥.
I stopped by on my way home from visiting Oharano Shrine for the New Year. It looks like a coffee shop, but this place sells seafood rice bowls. I ate tuna bowl today, but I ordered average, but there was a lot of tuna! ️ A service that makes you wonder if there is a tuna farm in Oharano. The price is 1400 yen and the cost performance is also good. Recommended shop. It's better than going to the seafood market.
Ordered a large serving of tuna sea grape bowl. The amount of tuna is as expected and I think there is more tuna than rice. The tuna was also delicious and very satisfying. Sea grapes are also fresh and chewy. The compatibility with tuna is also perfect. It seems that you can choose from two types of sauce, and the sauce with sesame was well entwined with the tuna and was quite delicious. I've heard that some people are left uneaten, so be careful if you order a large serving. At over 1300 yen, this volume is very good value for money. Since I visited outside the lunch time zone, the inside of the store was quiet and I could eat slowly.
