It was a long wait to try their coffee (about 40 min) but totally worth it! I had to try the famous Kyoto Iced Latte which was to die for. You can sit and enjoy the stunning views of Katsura River while sipping on your coffee. Would definitely go again.

There’s almost always going to be a queue here but don’t worry, it moves relatively fast. Ordering is systematic and there are several coffee machines with quick baristas working very efficiently to deliver the drinks quickly for customers. Love the vibe in there and there’s also a very scenic place to sit and chill to sip your coffee right outside. Gotta be one of, if not, the best Arabica outlets in the world - I guess it’s where the drink Kyoto latte on the menu got its name.

A fantastic spot for excellent coffee right by the beautiful Katsura River. Despite getting there fairly early there was already a substantial queue for the cafe, but it moved quickly and before long we got to place our order and collect our drinks. We both got iced Americanos due to it being a scorcher of a day and they really hit the spot, very refreshing. I'd have honestly gone back for another round but couldn't face that queue in the blistering heat. Next time we're in Kyoto I'm looking forward to visiting again!
