Amazing soba, decent prices (¥1400 for the soba with duck). Recommended by the Michelin Kyoto guide. All handmade custom ceramics, 8 seats, smooth jazz playing from their collection of CDs, the owner/chef in the kitchen and the front managed by a single older lady - it all makes for a great dining experience. Prepare to wait ~15mins to get seated, and another 15 for mains.
