Kyoto, Japan｜Soba-no-Mi Yoshimura

Best soba ever in my life. Even though I don't eat soba a lot, this restaurant is clearly very good at it. The flavor of the soba sauce is delicious, I ordered a cold noodle set menu, and my husband ordered a hot soba dish with tempura shrimp. We both liked it a lot. The sweets are also very tasty. It welcomes foreigners. Even though we don't really speak Jaoanese and they don't really speak English, we still communicate with no problem. We received 'service' snack and were served very quickly.

Stumbled upon this gem while walking around looking for a place for dinner. Was met with great service and very good food. Had no idea it had this many reviews and was a popular destination when we were walking in. Probably having a reservation would be best if trying to eat here during peak hours. Relatively long line outside when we left. Kid friendly and English friendly. Easy walk from the subway station.

Again, went to this place on the reviews and I can only agree with the quality of the food! We took the full set which allows you to taste different dishes and/or different flavors with the soba noodles. The sashimis were rather okayish in my opinion. The experience was overall very pleasant and the food very tasty. My favorite part of the set was of course the soba noodles and tempura. The ice cream was also nice but not mind-blowing to order it as an additional dish if you didn't take the set. If you are a soba lover, this place is for you!
