More Comments at Google MapIzumi City has many delicious soba restaurants. Among them, Murata cannot be left out. The feature here is that you boil your own raw soba noodles, a style that is hard to find at other restaurants. The soup stock has a strong flavor, and whole eggs are added to it. Thanks in part to the power of eggs, the soba noodles turn out to be really delicious. The store is built like a renovated old folk house. There is a parking lot for more than 10 cars. It's a popular restaurant, so you'll have to wait in line, but the interior is large and the turnover is quick. While waiting for your turn, you can see the stone mill where buckwheat flour is made.
I visited in the afternoon. The store was full, so we waited inside. I was informed by another customer that two seats were vacant. (We went with 4 people.) While other customers were leaving, only the customers who came later were guided. Have you been waiting for more than 20 minutes and have you asked the clerk yet? When I asked, I was immediately guided as if I had forgotten. The soba here is delicious and I like it, but if there is such a thing, I will worry about going next time. Soba noodles are really delicious! ! !
When we arrived at 11:30 noon on May 6th, the second half of Golden Week, there was a wait for one group to get in. I was seated near the entrance, so I had a good idea of how crowded it was, but by 11:45, the waiting room inside the store was full and there were many customers waiting for their turn outside. Both of us had eaten too much the previous day, so I ordered the Nishin Soba for 1,550 yen, and my wife ordered the Oroshikake Soba for 1,440 yen (with soba hot water). Both the soup stock and soba have a simple taste that is sure to be delicious. Even though I have a stupid tongue, I can tell just by eating that the food is carefully prepared. To be honest, the price of 1,250 to 2,200 yen for soba noodles is not cheap, but while looking at the calm interior of the renovated old folk house, the neatly maintained Japanese garden in front of the store, and the beautiful fresh flowers at the entrance, you can feel your preciousness. I didn't think the price was high considering that I could enjoy a delicious meal with people.
