A long-established soba restaurant located directly across from Samhara Shrine. The friendly wife is a nice touch. My wife and I stopped by for dinner after visiting Samhara-san. We ordered a tempura set meal for 1,500 yen, two pieces of zaru for 750 yen, and a bottle of beer. I was happy to see that quail eggs were used in the soba soup, and that the soba noodles were served with chopped seaweed. Everything from the soba noodles, tempura, pickles, and soups were carefully crafted and delicious. I would like to visit again.

This is a soba restaurant in front of Samuhara Shrine that also serves a la carte dishes. The soba soup stock is a beautiful amber color, deep and dark, and has a delicious taste of kelp and tuna. It's delicious both hot and cold. The daily set meals, single items, and other set meals are delicious, and it's easy to go even if you're alone. Both the proprietress and the host are cheerful and soothing. The tempura is also delicious, so please try it. The lunch set meal is a great deal with a large serving of rice for free.
