More Comments at Google MapWe had a late lunch but still had to wait, but it was great to just be able to put your name down and come back (not many places do that in busy tourist areas). We had and icecream and went back 25 mins later . Table for five, all very lovely staff and the food was very great. We wanted to make sure we didn't miss the monkey Forrest so possibly ate too quickly! I can see how it would be a great place to take your time with the bigger set menu items . Kids will love the beef soba
One of the best soba ever! Can’t believe that the cold soba it’s chewy, unlike the other places that just cold noodle. The tempura is we fried, the ingredients are amazing. Tried the seasonal special, there’s fried mochi and also a type of fish. Fried mochi is very nice, and it’s really unique. The fish are big lean piece and very fresh. The corns are sweet too. And it’s piece by piece. The prawns are big in pieces and also very fresh. First time had the complete cold soba experience. In the end, the water used to cook the noodles poured over to the new sauce, it turned out to be an amazing soup!
Came here for lunch at around 1230 - waited 30 minutes for a table of two. Traditional soba and tofu spot. Interior was cozy, and had a beautiful view of the garden. The meal was not overly heavy, loved the variety and that we could have both hot and cold soba. Great spot to try soba In Kyoto!
