Kyoto, Japan｜Yokatto

I highly recommend visiting Yokatto, even if you do not necessarily speak Japanese. This was truly one of the best Chinese/Szechaun meals I have ever had. The Mapu Tofu and Egg Fried Rice were not just delicious but had unique, delicious and interesting elements that excited me. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm, very comfortable and felt like being welcomed into a lovely home. The chef is particularly talented and skilled and both he and the waitress were lovely to speak to and spend time around. You could tell that this restaurant was popular as local guests were already present when we arrived and also very kindly made space for us, which they did not have to do. The atmosphere and taste were great too. I like the place where you can eat slowly in a calm space. While maintaining the original Chinese style as much as possible, it has been adjusted to suit Japanese dietary habits (meat selection, cooking method, etc.), so anyone can enjoy it. Summer-limited chilled dandan noodles, creamy and numb spicy dandan noodles that I like! I want to eat more! ! I think it's about 1200 yen and it feels a little expensive for Dandan noodles, but I think you'll be convinced if you take a sip of the concentrated soup. I haven't eaten anything else, so I don't know, but if you're going in the summer, I recommend chilled dandan noodles!
