Just visited Chinese Bar DOJIMA and probably had the best meal of our entire trip. They only have Japanese menus without pictures. With some google translate help we were able to order without issue. I wish I could attached pics but it looked too good not to devour right away. All the dishes came out separately when each were ready. They were hot (temp), flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu options primarily include chili peppers /szechuan spices. Our order: dumplings, spicy fried noodles, chili shrimp, szechuan pork belly, and 1 more - hottest dish on the menu indicated by 3 chili peppers. ALL of it was delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff were attentive and helpful despite the language barrier. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my fellow frequent flyers.

[Dinner/Weekdays/2 people] I had made an appointment with a friend in Osaka, so I left the reservation to him, and he selected this restaurant because he said it was highly recommended. Arubu Tabelog also said that I should go here, so I went there with high expectations. By 6:30pm on Friday, it was already full. It was filled up after 7pm, so you can feel how popular it is. Let's start with the first cup and appetizer. Everything is delicious, but the drooling chicken is especially delicious when combined with the sauce. After that, we had vegetables such as greens and cucumbers, and then we moved on to the main course, the mapo tofu! I don't mind super spicy food, so Arubu Tabelog recommended that I increase the spiciness to 5 and add more Japanese pepper, but the staff told me to try the standard 2 or 3 first if it's my first time, so today I ordered 3. As you can see in the photo, the wonderful mapo tofu came out as expected and I was excited! ! I was so moved by the harmony with Rice that I couldn't put it into words (lol) While my stomach looked good, I finally ordered the boiled beef that a friend of mine really wanted me to try. Although I was surprised by the shocking amount of chili peppers, I was able to calm myself down because I was eating the vegetables, meat, and soup buried underneath (lol) It has a strong cilantro flavor and is a bit addictive, but it's not that spicy, so people who like it will be addicted to it. It's a Chinese restaurant that adults can enjoy, with a clean interior, courteous staff, and delicious food. It's a store you'll want to visit with your loved ones rather than just for everyday use, as it has a selection of highly satisfying items. *Naoki Hanzawa's figurines are interesting.
