Oyakodon was so delicious.. the service was awesome as well. Reservation is required and no walk-in for this special lunch set so get prepared!! English menu is available and it helps a lot.

Great yakitori feels like a journey around different parts of the chicken. Wabiya had inventive ways to showcase the liver (paté burger), the breastbone, chicken soup, and more. It inspired me to get a yakitori grill and try this on my own at home. Probably my favorite meal in Kyoto so far.

The price is cheap compared to Gion. I ordered Oyakodon, and the sauce and 2 raw eggs will be prepared on the spot in a hot stone pot, and finally a third raw egg is added, which is too nutritious~~ The chicken soup is cooked with real chicken Yes, the taste is strong. There is an English menu, so foreigners can order food without any problem
