Hikone, Shiga, Japan｜Daimyokamon

I went to Hikone Castle during Obon and stopped by on the way back because I wanted to eat Hitsumabushi. It was a little late lunch time, but it seemed busy because there were tables that had not been cleared. Sushi is famous, so people who come in tried to order sushi, but it seemed like they couldn't order sushi. I ordered the special hitsumabushi, and it seemed to be the best hitsumabushi I've ever eaten. The quantity is good and the taste is good. If I go to Hikone again, I want to eat it with sushi.

All the fish were delicious, but the eel was especially the best❗

I used it when I went to Hikone on a business trip. Convenient location near the station. We were guided to a semi-private room and were able to relax and enjoy local gourmet food and local sake.
