We found this bar by accident and we’re so glad we did! The man who runs this place is a pro at origami and entertained us with magic tricks too. A very special spot in Kyoto, if we come back to this area we will definitely drop in.

This is by far one of the best bars of Kyoto. The owner is incredibly friendly and very helpfull. The vibe is amazing and so are the drinks. If you are ever in Kyoto this bar is absolutely worth a visit.

Fabulous spot in Kyoto’s bar district. The owner has run Bar Tonbo (which means dragonfly in Japanese) for 18 years! He even made me an origami bird 💗 Lots of cocktail options as well as complimentary nibbles. The staff are so lovely and happy to chat.
