Kyoto, Japan｜K36 (The Bar & Rooftop)

Very nice rooftop in Kyoto with a 360 view of the city. I recommend going just before sunset. Prices are reasonable but note that there is a cover charge of 1100 yen per person and a 10% service fee. The food is also really good.

Beautiful rooftop bar, the atmosphere was wonderful with a gorgeous view overlooking Kyoto. It felt like quite a high-end bar and as such the prices were a little on the higher side, but the food was delicious and we had a great time, so happy to pay a little more for the experience.

I'll be honest I was several drinks into the night so my memory and recollection of this spot is not the best... But from what I remember the vibes were impeccable. The atmosphere felt very calm, cozy and relaxed. I would most definitely bring a date that I'm really into for a romantic night after dinner! The view was also perfect and the whole place didn't seem too touristy!
