Kyoto, Japan｜Yakiniku Dining Gyūrakutei

A beautiful restaurant with delicious good and great staff. I came on a Sunday at around 7pm, no wait time but I was only 1 person. The staff was very friendly, used a mixtured of English and Japanese. I ordered the Gyuraku course and two drinks (lemon sour and honey plum wine). Perfect serving size, wasn't stuffed full and I had eaten lunch as well. No complaints ! I wasn't a fan of the yuzu ice cream or lemon sour but overall was great.

Got lucky and managed to snag a seat without a reservation. I came here on a Saturday at 6pm and was told that they're full but I can come back at 8pm for a seat. There's an English menu and I've been seeing their course sets on my feed so I tried the gyuraku course which consisted of 11 dishes along with a ginger highball. Everything was presented elegantly, service was exceptionally friendly and having that bit of privacy let me enjoy my meal a whole lot more. Meat is definitely high quality and being able to cook it the way I like it helps. After billing out, friendly cashier also commented on my socks (meowth pokemon) and gave me some candies. Overall, I would definitely come back again.
