Kyoto, Japan｜Omi Beef Daikichi - Wagyu Kaiseki

We had an incredible meal prepared by Chef Nazuki. Such beautiful dishes showcasing Omi beef exceptionally, over a well paced course in an intimate setting. We made a booking at the counter and were lucky to witness this 25 year old chef work away. What a talent. We selected the smallest course, however would definitely recommend going bigger if you can as it was just delicious. Thank you Nazuki and thank you to your staff for the recommendations across Kyoto!

We visited the restaurant today and are still blown away. The food was incredible and masterfully prepared. Nazuki and her team were excellent and very welcoming. Beautifully crafted and prepared, each course was a joy to experience. If you like to experience Omi Beef in many different and exceptional variations, it probably does not get any better than this. Arigato Gozaimasu. Oishikatta desu. Highly recommended. When we visit Kyoto again, we will definitely eat here again.

We did the kaiseki on our first night in Kyoto (6/24) and it was nothing short of amazing! The staff was very professional while still being very fun to chat with, despite the language barrier. The kaiseki experience had us sitting at the bar watching them prepare each course. It was great value for the money as well, coming in at less than $100 USD including drinks per person. Not bad for a wagyu multiple course dinner
