Kyoto, Japan｜ekaki ワイン酒場

I love going to natural wine bars and found this restaurant in Kyoto. The vibe is casual, and location is right by Kawaramachi. We ordered a few starters, and had 3 glasses of wine each. The price per wine glass is great (750 yen is the cheapest) and there was a lot to choose from! We loved the red Sicilian wines and had a smooth orange one too. We had 4-5 starters with the wine, and our bill was less than 10,000 yen for 2 people (super great value for money if you compare to Tokyo) Try the fig butter!!! It was super delicious. Pâté was great. Would love to go back to this place.

Good wine by the glass. Friendly staff. Prices are reasonable but food portions on the smaller side
