Kyoto, Japan｜Ao Onigiri

They open at 9 am until the onigiri finished. So there's no certain close time. I was come too early, at 8.25. After wait for about 10 mnt finally the staff let me in. Some people also come too early because they dont put the opening hours on google. The onigiri was delicious, the staff also friendly. Must try if u travel to Kyoto

Great place, owner is super friendly, they have a big variety of onigiri . Perfect to picnic around the philosophers path.

This is a hidden gem with a very friendly owner. It wasn't busy when we went, around 1600. This meant that he was able to explain the menu a bit and serve us quickly. After we finished eating the delicious onigiri, we had a wonderful conversation about traditions and our respective lives. The food was exceptional, with rich rice. Far better than getting it at a conscience store and cheaper too! He did say that we came at the perfect time, because when he is busy he doesn't have time to do anything but make the food. I definitely recommend this place!
