Osaka, Japan｜Sushizanmai Dotombori

Honestly, this was just a good dining experience. Aside from the interior being a bit dated, everything else was stellar. The staff was attentive, helpful, and all-around friendly. There was nothing confusing about ordering, and we were shown how to order using the website via QR code. It was super simple and highly convenient for us as diners and for the staff. The food was great and offered generous portions. The menu was diverse and gave options that I hadn't encountered before now. I appreciated the limited time items in their menu and have no complaints about anything served. Staff even helped with take-out options for my partner, who was unable to join for the evening. Overall, I feel that I had a quality meal and was satisfied with the results of this trip. If I wasn't trying to experience all that Dotombori has to offer (no small feat), I would consider more than just the one meal here. I can however state that I look forward to returning on future visits. One thing I hadn't mentioned earlier is that while this is in the heart of the district, it was a calm meal not affected by the hustle and bustle that is Dotombori as it is down a hallway off the main strip. Don't let that deter you however as I consider Sushizanmai to be a wonderful hidden gem of Osaka. 5☆ experience, I highly recommend. 👍

My first experience was last year in Tokyo, Shibuya. This time round it's in Osaka. Their food never fails to amaze me. Just like in the pictures it's exactly how it looks in real life and as for the taste. It's AMAZING. Every single bite simply melts in your mouth. That's how fresh their food are. I can eat in their restaurant every single day for dinner or supper. I'm not one who eats my sashimi, sushi or my raw fishes with soysauce and wasabi. So, yes! Their food are worth it. My frequent stop for lunch…and dinner…and sometimes breakfast. Nomnomnomnom. As for their service, on par with the freshness of their food too. If I have more hands I will give them many thumbs up. But they deserve both my thumbs and toes up! Hahahaha
