Chanced upon this restaurant while visiting Ikeda. The food is surprisingly delicious and the place is very small but cosy. The owner is very friendly and welcoming as well. I definitely would have passed by because it's not ostentious. Truly a hidden treasure. Will come by again if I travel to this area :)

Delicious! A delightful little (very little!) place. Recommended by the Ikeda free tourism spots guide book, although it's not actually shown on their map and I walked past three times before realising and actually finding it by accident. Great value, beautiful food and a lovely proprietor. No English spoken, but with some enthusiasm and a willingness to jump in the deep end I ended up with a great meal. Don't be afraid to ask for hot curry as it's pretty mild.
