It's right next to Imazu Station on the Hanshin and Hankyu lines, so close that you could almost say it's directly under it. I thought it would be a standing udon restaurant, but when I walked in, it was the type where you could sit at the counter. A system where you pay in advance using the ticket vending machine installed in the store. I chose QR code payment, so I ordered verbally with the staff and paid in person. My husband chose the Dondon set of gyudon and kake udon from a menu with a wide variety of options. After thinking about it for a while, I decided on ``Meat Udon Kamatama''. The kamatama was delicious, but on this day, the soup stock from the kake udon soaked up all my heart and soul. Even in the hot weather, the scent of bonito stock that wafts through the store is soothing. Udon is definitely delicious!

A stand-up udon restaurant with seating. Although it has been around for a long time, the taste remains the same and the price is very reasonable. Especially if you pair it with a rice bowl, it's a great deal. The business hours have been gradually getting shorter over the past few years, and it's a shame that I can't stop by just because I'm hungry in the middle of the night like I used to. It seems that they are currently open from 07:00-23:00. There have been some changes, such as automatic ticket vending machines and shorter business hours, but this is one of the stores that I would definitely like to have friends with.

This time I ordered the katsudon and mini udon set that I was interested in. What surprised me was that there were many other orders for this combination, and at that point I realized how good the cost performance was. The katsudon was a crispy cutlet topped with egg, and the rice was well-seasoned, and the udon in the set was light and well-balanced. Of course, the volume was also perfect.
