Found this from a local magazine. We had a sushi course, sashimi platter, and chawanmushi. The chef makes the sushi and sashimi right in front of you, and he let us try so many different varieties, cut in all the different ways. The chawanmushj was also excellent, and the price was very reasonable as well. The only thing I regret is not brushing up on my Japanese phrases before coming so that I can have a better chat with the friendly chef.

We had the evening course for 8,000 yen. 10 dishes, chawanmushi and 5 pieces of sushi. At this price and this volume, all the work is done with great care. The sake looked like a jacket purchase, but it was delicious. This is a homely restaurant with 7 seats at the counter.

There are only counter seats, but we had a fun meal with the owner who was a good talker.
