Osaka, Japan｜Sapporo Soup Curry JACK Shinmachi

This is part of the underculture of the city. Good things on the walls, funky drawings, nice music and light service are all good ingredients for atmosphere. We enjoyed 2 very good curries with rice, delicious. Prices are somewhere mid, portions also mid sized, you can choose size of rice and spiciness or different type of sauce.

If you ever been to Sapporo you would have probably tried one of their most local cuisine, the curry chicken soup with vegetables. Well here in Osaka, this restaurant really makes this dish just like they do in Sapporo. I ordered the version with pork ribs with coconut cream. They also have the chicken leg quarter version and it’s not only fall off the bone but the bone is so tender you can eat it. Don’t miss this place for a slice of Hokkaido in Osaka.

The grilled broccoli on soup was the best! Their spicy soups weren't as spicy as I thought. I chose the hottest but my palate still wants a more intense level of spice 😅
