I asked a friend from Matsu to introduce me to a table of dishes for nine people. The boss lady cooked a menu-like dish of nine dishes and one soup by herself. They were all made with the ingredients and specialties of the time. It was my first time to set foot on Matsu. I enjoyed the best local cultural dishes. The eldest sister is not talkative but very simple and kind. It feels like I am back home. I like the staple rice noodles very much, as well as Mazu fish dumplings (like small steamed buns), wheat anchovy pancakes, and wild rice noodles. The seaweed and daikon are both delicious and the portion is enough for 8-10 people to share
