Wow! What a fabulous find. Small out of the way cafe, but go inside and it’s just like being in my grandma’s home back in England. Really cozy warm atmosphere with relaxing music. Owner and staff are very kind and friendly. Simple menu of a few items but done well. Had delicious scones and shortcake (both tasted of home!); will try lunch next time. Will go again. You should too!

A quiet cafe that will make you feel at home. The three-choice cake plate is a great value at ¥550. There are many antique items, some of which are for sale. Let's go eat lunch next time. Parking available. It gets crowded for lunch so reservations are required! !

A cafe near Shintetsu Kita Suzurandai Station. It's an atmospheric building located along the railroad tracks, so it's easy to understand even at first glance. It seems that Tue/Wednesday is a luxurious lunch at a great price, while Thu/Fri is a normal daily lunch. I visited on a Friday, and it was already nearly full by noon, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a reservation. As you can see in the photo, the lunch is plentiful. You can choose from 5 main dishes, and when I ordered the fried salmon, there were three pieces included. Many of the vegetable side dishes were boiled and cooked, and they were more filling than they looked. The store is full of antique furniture and accessories. It seemed to be a place for the neighbors to relax.
