The lady served us water and hot towels before offering us a menu, she said it was all in Japanese but she understood enough English to bring us coffee and a sandwich without meat as requested. The coffee was nice, sandwich very tasty and the staff lovely, even chased us down the road to return sunglasses I had left on the table.
