Ordered the Hokkaido lamb / mutton as shown in the pic, it was very good. The tenderness is unique to this meat. The portions are smaller but that's okay, as you can order two or a single order with another type of protein, e.g. intestine or another type of mutton. The staff will grill for you and show (although written instructions are provided) you how to do it, then leave you be. There is a one drink minimum to which I ordered sochu with soda. It was nice change. You can dip your meat in their sauce or the special salt in the small jars. Choose the salt. The sauce is mild and the salt brings out the true meat taste. :)

It’s Mongolian bbq restaurant. The location is a little secret, and it was lucky a Japanese girl helped us. It’s not too expensive for the high quality bbq. The Hokkaido lamb is highly recommend. You may be familiar with lots of Japanese beef, but the best lamb is here in Hokkaido. The soup curry is made with lamb as well, and it was really good in cheap price. Beer is recommended with bbq as well. Enjoy a dinner at here, then it’s Sapporo in Hokkaido. Cheers 🍻
