When you nervously walk up the stairs to the entrance of a narrow, old building, you'll find an elegant shop that you wouldn't expect from the outside. On my second night in Hokkaido, I ate lamb shabu here at Hokkai Shabu Shabu. This restaurant was recommended by a YouTuber who lives in Sapporo, so I was really looking forward to it. It's the same lamb as the Genghis Khan I ate last night, but today it was lighter, so I ate this lamb shabu. In short, "You can eat anything you want!" The sauce had the flavors of ginger and garlic, and the vegetables and lamb were a perfect match. In addition, it is a luxurious feeling to grab a lot of thinly sliced ​​lamb and pork with chopsticks and enjoy shabu-shabu. Finally, in addition to the ramen, I was very satisfied with the ice cream for dessert. Combined with the atmosphere of the store, I was able to spend a very happy two hours here. Needless to say, when we got back to the hotel, the whole family was like, ``I ate too much.'' This is the store I want to visit next time I come to Sapporo.
