Great cute stylish soup curry restaurant in JR Sapporo Station. Soup curry is famous in Hokkaido and as the name suggests, the curry is thinner than the typical Japanese curry you’d otherwise expect. It is another must try in Hokkaido, other than your typical seafood feast! You order from a tablet in this cute shop and there’s English, Korean and Chinese option. I used the Chinese version and the translation isn’t good enough and most of the menu was still in katakana… however it comes with photos so it’s not that hard for you to figure out. I chose spice level 4 (the highest spice level without additional charge) and it wasn’t spicy at all for me to be honest… but it’s still very delicious. You can order just soup curry without rice (deduction of JPY30 also).

Absolutely a must if you visit Sapporo!! I was torn about which curry soup shop to visit as there are many, but I definitely made the right choice. The actually restaurant is in abit of an odd spot as it was in the beginning of a neighborhood but that didn't really bother me. The interior was very homey feeling with lots of rustic wooden furniture and a very warm space. The staff were attentive and inviting, and the actual curry and their zangi (hokkaido fried chicken) was SO GOOD. The depth of flavor, vegetable variety, and presentation was even better than I expected. Please pay this shop a visit, absolutely worth it.

Visited with a friend who was trying soup curry for the first time. The store was crowded but still had a relaxing vibe. Vegetables used were very fresh, and we enjoyed the hearty soup. They don’t take credit cards though - cash only.
