One of my favourite curry places in Sapporo! Love their spicy curry! Mixed with different spices. Black curry, the sauce is a bit thick to me, but nice to try. Their soup curry sold out quick, you probably need to go a bit earlier during lunch.

Really good Japanese curry. Not cheap for being curry, but not expensive. Closes early.

- Kuroiwa Kakuhanten Main Branch - 2023/09/30 Kuroiwa Kaku Hanten Main Branch is located in Chuo Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido. It seems like the store is owned by the person who is active on TV and radio. Seats are only counter seats. There are also roux curry and soup curry, but the spice curry seems to be the most popular. This is a system where you purchase meal tickets from a ticket vending machine. On weekday lunchtimes, you get a large serving of rice for free, and you can change the size of the rice (regular 200g, extra 250g, large 350g) for free, but since it was a Saturday, I ordered the regular size. Chicken leg is sitting in the middle. This chicken leg was melt-in-the-mouth and very delicious. As the name suggests, it was very spicy. Since there was a large amount of roux, I felt that the amount of rice was small. Thank you for the meal. There are instructions regarding cleanup, so please be sure to follow them carefully.
