A really cozy place to stop by after classes at Hokkaido University! The coffee was great, not to mention the delicious dessert. I also liked the fact that water is served before, so you get to fully taste your blend of choice. The staff is super friendly and kind too. 100% recommended, I might become a regular during my semester here!

This coffee shop is such a hidden gem! I like it so much that now I’m looking for a new apartment, I take its distance from the coffee shop into consideration. The coffee master/owner seems to be trained in Brazil (there’s a certificate on the wall) and is genuinely nice and pleasant. I forgot my glasses case here last time and he kept it for me (somehow he remembered that it’s mine when I’ve even forgotten about it!) They are probably known for coffee but I especially like the tea and food here. The donut is heavenly! Having lived in the States for 10 years, it’s better than any airy kind that I’ve had. (If you like the old-fashioned, crumbly type of “cake donuts,” this is not it. It’s the soft, airy, puffy, and doughy type.) It’s perfectly warm when served, glistening in sugar but not overly sweet. The red bean paste also tastes like real red beans, not your average off-the-shelf preserves. It appears that many customers are regulars; when my Japanese gets better maybe I can have a chat with people here too, lol. The ambiance is perfect for chilling by oneself, doing some work, and/or catching up with friends. I also enjoy the background music here all the time, whether it’s classical guitar or jazz piano. Thank you for keeping this little urban sanctuary open!
