It didn't look like a traditional tea house from the outside but once you step through the entrance, you'll feel like you've travelled back in time. The whole place has a very zen ambience from the garden to the interior that puts the mind at ease. They served delicious traditionally brewed macha tea and surprisingly kids-friendly strawberry milk too. Just be aware that you may have to wait patiently in queue as they don't have many seats in the premise.

The atmosphere is just perfect! I went there on wed and didn’t wait for a seat but it is very crowded at the weekends. I had to wait a bit for my order to arrive but it was very delicious. Also they do not accept orders after 5.30 pm.

I knew Anmitsu when I watched Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman, a Netflix series. Since then I always wanted to taste it. Luckily I know this place from my wife. She already had this as a list from months ago. So we decided to go here. Despite the hot and humid summer 🥵 The Anmitsu was perfect as I expected. I like every ingredient on it. The sweetness and the taste of the red beans and other ingredients perfectly harmonize the overall experience of this dessert. I also like the atmosphere. Very traditional Japanese restaurant. One thing you should remember, you need to bring cash I'm afraid. Because they don't provide other payment methods. As far as I know. Please confirm it yourself on the spot. And don't forget about the matcha! I'm a Muslim. Before I decided to come here, I already researched what ingredients are commonly used in Anmitsu. And we thought it was safe for Muslims. But please do this on your own. And I ask Allah for mercy if I was wrong about the ingredients 😀🫣
