Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Udon Ikkyu

Noodles are perfectly made and flavor was on point. They were very accommodating with a toddler and provided a bowl, fork and safety scissors to cut the noodles. Really appreciate that! FYI, they have takeout.

We found this place accidentally and were lucky that there was no queue when we arrived. Udon was surprisingly tasty and deep fried chicken was one of the best I ever had. However, seats in the restaurant are limited and you may need to queue, which is worth to wait, for this good food.

We went there about 11.30am and there is a queue forming outside the shop. Queue was relatively fast and staff is efficient. Udon is chewy and yummy, chicken is crispy on the outside with a hint of sourness from the lemon.
