The burdock udon is their signature dish, but we love their simple udon with tempura egg and shrimp. Delicious and reasonably priced.
I had the meat udon (cold) for lunch and it was so fantastic that I went back for dinner. The bite on the udon was al dente, which was what I was looking for. The black pepper chicken udon (cold), which I had for dinner was delicious too. I didn't speak Japanese but the staff were very accomodating and polite, which just added to the experience.
I’m frothing at the mouth as we speak thinking back to the udon I had from this place. It’s a bumpin’ little restaurant with a surprisingly affordable price, so definitely expect a bit of a wait for a table. Especially if you derped and went during their rush. Their pride and joy is the goboten udon where they literally crown their huge bowl of udon with a weighty hill of goboten on top. If I were to ever play the game of thrones, it’d be the only kind of crown I’d want. Even just their regular tempura udon is nothing to shake a stick at. Their tempura ranks right up there along with their udon and exquisite broth so don’t miss out by not getting anything deep fried. Carbs are food, not friend. Omnomnomnom.
