A little traditional Taiwanese dessert shop hidden in the Manga district, you will definitely miss it if you are not paying attention. The owner has reproduced several of his grand mother's signature recipes into the shop's specialty. Its specialty the jelly cake (or "fen guo" in Taiwanese) is what attracted me to this place. The owner insisted on reproducing the "grandma" taste, therefore the production process of each ingredient is time consuming and manually done. There are complexities in this simple product, but you can only appreciate it when you are not in a rush. This is when the subtle jelly cake turns into fireworks on your palate. The sugar and plum syrup is a must try!

This little cafe is quite hidden in plain sight. It’s worth the effort finding it. The owner friendly and the mochi is delicious. I went there based on a recommendation of a friend. I had the mochi and cold brew tea. Both were excellent.
