This place is in downtown Hsinchu inside a market. First of all make a reservation by calling them as it’s really small and they have limited seating. The menus are in Chinese but you can use your phone to translate what you want. We took 1 general set and 1 beef set. It’s starts with beef soup and then they cook the meat in front of you as per your taste. Go rare on the beef as the quality is really good and you want to taste the proper taste of the premium meat you are buying. They give you a small plate of side dishes, bbq sauce and salt so you can use as per your tastebuds. I found the meat to be expertly cooked and they really take time to explain to you what they are doing. The meat goes with ice cold Asahi beer and they generally have an offer of all you can drink for 199NTD. Overall the price range is definitely on the higher side, 2 people can easily cost a 1000NTD but then again it’s pretty fine dining and worth it.
