More Comments at Google MapDelicious, slow to serve, but overall OK. The chef's barbecue skills are very good, and the combination is also very reasonable. You will be full after eating, but not too greasy. I think the uni croissant recommended by many people is a bit ordinary and you can skip it. It is recommended to give the master a budget and let the master help you match. Tonight we set $4500 each
A true Yakiniku? Or Korean BBQ? It's neither. The chef (or the owner) decides the best way to serve his customers; maybe I will call it a Taiwan hybrid Yakiniku. A tiny small yakiniku shop. The first floor has only 8 bar seats, and the second has a few additional tables. I truly enjoyed the overall dining experience. I loved to watch the kitchen in action, from butchers to the chef who decided the ideal grill time and served you right off the griller. (In between, you may hear the chef “schooling” the staff to think ahead on what the chef may need or pay attention to customers' wine glasses.) It’s a great place to enjoy a meal. The place also provides a good selection of drinks (beer, sake, wine, whisky, or gin). They have perfectly matched Rhône wine to balance out the richness of A5 Wagyu (Sandai Beef). Of course, please don’t say no to the secret dish from the chef at the end, so leave a space in your stomach for it. My recommendation: for a first-timer like me, just order the short course (if you don’t eat much) or the full-on menu. Order a beer, then follow it with any of your preferred drinks. The chef grill in front of you, so if you want to finish your meal in less than 60 minutes, please call ahead and ask if it’s doable or not. Don’t rush, and letting the entire staff team serve you are the best way to enjoy the night. Their A5 spicy sauce is so good we got two of it when we left.
Very good beef and chefs were skilled in preparing every cut. Try to get the bar counter seating on the ground floor. Get the dan dan or beef noodles instead of the croissant!
