Datong District, Taipei City｜Ijysheng Nanxi

Looking for some nice nougat to send to my friend, I randomly entered this small bread/cake shop in Zhongshan not knowing it was a famous one. As soon as I entered, I got hit by the heady and amazing smell of freshly baked tarts and pies. In Touyan International Airport Terminal 1's B1 foodcourt, there's also an Ijy Sheng shop where I got to try the yolk cake and chicken pie, while my friend tried an egg tart, melon bread and deli sandwiches. I wish I bought more pies to take home.

The pineapple bun is the best I have ever had. Everything we had was fantastic.
