One of the best pineapple pie and cake i ever eat in Taiwan. The store is located nearby Elephant Hill (Xiangshan Trail). Friendly uncle who kindly explain to us the filling of his pies and cake. The price and quality of his pies definitely worth to try. The pineapple cake price also lower than market price as the shop doesn't have brand. Apart from the pineapple cake he sold different types of pies. We tried his mung bean and minced meat and amazed by the taste. Worth to visit if you hike Elephant Hill as it will be a good snack while enjoying the view! Will come back to visit this bakery again if I go Taipei.

Best pies and pineapple cake in Taiwan!! This unassuming store is situated near the entrance to the Xiangshan Trail. The store sells the best pies and pineapple cake I ever had in Taiwan. You have to try the red bean, green bean and meat pies. They are delicious and not overly sweet/meaty. Prices are lower than average because of the lack in branding (a good thing for us customers). I believe the pies are homemade as the owner who is selling the pies was also baking the pies.
