Zhubei City, Hsinchu County｜Roulang Hotpot

Quality hot pot meal. There is no “unlimited” part of the meal (no unlimited veg or meat/seafood) but you can get a refill on broth— which is common in Taiwan. There is a bathroom and you can ask them for the wifi password. I’ve been to 20+ hotpot places in my life and I did love the food quality, but the price seemed a little high. My cousin made a reservation a day in advance for 5 people for 5pm and we were seated right away. Highly recommend the Mala broth!

We had a great experience! Basically the menu consists of different types of either pork, beef or seafood. Once you select the main ingredient you get a hot pot with a selection of rice, vegetables and sauces on the side. You prepare your own hot pot by mixing these ingredients inside the pot while it is heated and cooked on the table (zero danger since it is using induction heating). All the products were super fresh and the staff was very friendly. Great music and atmosphere as well. Only downside is that there is no English menu.

The dining environment is comfortable, the service staff is very polite, the seafood is very fresh, the clams are large and cleaned, the scallops are fresh and super delicious, the meat is quite large, and each piece of meat is paired with red robe spicy soup Brush it with a unique sauce for a good aftertaste. 13 ounces is quite full for one person, and the dish plate can also be replaced with a meat plate. I will still want to eat it again next time. This time I was too full to enjoy ice cream.
