A rare, unique and delicious hot pot. I had it in Shanghai several years ago and miss the yummy flavor for quite some time. Basically, it’s pig stomach with black bone chicken stew hot pot with spicy pepper. This restaurant also offers spare rib to make the flavor even better. All ingredients are good quality, well- prepared and perfectly cooked. The black bone chicken is tender and juicy in hot pot. The pig stomach was cleaned very well without any smell and cooked perfectly. Personally, I would not mix this broth base with any seafood. First to try is all mushrooms to bring the fresh flavor into the hot pot. Then either pork or beef followed fresh vegetables. Tofu and tofu skin should be the last to go in the hot pot to absorb all great flavors. Overall, it’s a fabulous hot pot for any hot pot fan to try.
