Gushan District, Kaohsiung City｜Sizhiwan Gourmet Buffet Restaurant

I've been here a few times and it's one of my favourites for when I really want fresh, local veggies! How it works is you select what you want from the buffet, then you pay according to what you have picked. Veg/tofu tends to be cheaper than a meat-heavy dish. This is a great place to go if you are a vegetarian! Great assortment of veggies, tofu, and meat selections. My tips for what to choose is see what's still steaming or has just been put out. I love the edamame beans with peanuts, tofu with brown sauce, egg and tomato... So many goodies to choose from. My favourite cheap eats place in Kaohsiung for sure - I've never paid more than NTD 75 for a filling meal.

Great tasting local food at your own selection. Mine was only TWD 60, which is SGD2.70. Highly recommended!
