Hualien City, Hualien County｜周家小籠包蒸餃（花商店）

We went to this dumpling house per recommendation of our hostel and it did not disappoint! We ordered small hot and sour soup, large garlic pork rice and two orders of xiaolongbao. The xiaolongbao are huge compared to what we're used to, so we only ended up eating half! We also didn't realize the garlic pork rice would be a soup but it was a happy mistake because everything we ate was absolutely delicious! Price is very reasonable. All of this was 215 NT/$6~ USD

Amazing dumplings. Such fast service and so cheap!! Everything in this photo was 250NT. Enough to feed 3 people!

They have 2 types of dumplings one is a mini bau style that's more breaded and the other is steamed. I got the mini bau dumplings and they are my favorite in Taiwan. The flavor is a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The meat is well seasoned It's just delicious. If you dine in I recommend hot and sour soup too!
