West District, Taichung City｜Cream&Sugar

Super cute little dessert cafe just outside the heart of Taichung, Taiwan. Both outdoor and indoor seating available. Seems to be a family business as a young couple was operating the kitchen and counter, their baby in a high chair at one of the tables. The lady was super kind and understanding with the language barrier. Some beautiful desserts offered. The one I got was a nut filled mouse with white chocolate shell sitting on a layer of deliciously sweet and salty crumble. Surprisingly delicious for such a pretty dessert. The coffee was simple but good. Just an iced americano and iced latte. The vibe was cute and chic. Maybe a little tricky to get to. Most people visiting seem to take uber or rent a moto. Parking can be found for free on the street. I would definitely visit here again if just looking for a place to relax for a bit while in Taichung.

Fine quality of colourful cakes with different styles, good price & yummy yummy....Earl grey chocolate, purple rose, Raspberry Lychee Mouse & Marry Me (limited edition) along with coffee & tea....must go again when visiting Taichung next time.

The new dessert pearls are delicious! It's very pretty and not too sweet. The slightly salty homemade nut butter inside has a quicksand texture and goes well with the flavor of the crust! The whole thing makes a girl’s heart explode! The only flaw is that it is not easy to find a parking space near this store. I can only park at Guangsan Sogo and come over for afternoon tea after shopping~
