Early Summer, 2023... I came back for my second tasting round on my 2nd Taiwan trip this year. This is by far the best dessert shop that I have been to in Taipei and I love my sweets. Their powdered ice dessert is made from a huge block of ice...shredded by the old fashion ice machine to really fine snow flakes. Then topped with my favorite toppings. Talk about cool refreshing summer treat...it doesn't get any better than this. Then of course, you also have to come back and try the homemade sweet tofu pudding. I liked mine with my favorite peanut and red bean toppings. The tofu is silky smooth and it just melts in your mouth. Talk about heavenly treat. You will need a week of time to try the different offerings. It may satisfy your sweet tooth by the end of the week. Lastly, the service was amazing again. The store manager was super energetic and thoughtfully explained all the different options with a smile. First time in Winter 2023... What an amazing place... If you want to have an unforgettable experience with awesome authentic local sweet eats along with warm and welcoming staff, this is your place. Their Douhua is out of this world...smooth, silky, and melt in your mouth. Their shaved ice dishes reminded me of my childhood ones. They use the old fashion metal ice shaving machine that can properly turn out refine ice flakes. The toppings are plentiful and yummy. You almost need a whole week to try out all their difference offerings. Highly recommend!!!
