Xinyi District, Taipei City｜Wei Mei Breakfast Restaurant

This was the very first place where we had breakfast in Taipei! I loved everything about our experience: the lively atmosphere, the food (super delicious and big portions) & the ambience of the place! It was such an authentic experience! Also, even if there was no English menu, the staff made sure we ordered the things we wanted 😍 I strongly recommend the Dan Bing with tuna!!! And the coffee was also great (if you like the strong but milky latte) 🤍 Can’t wait to be back!!!

Yes, they were open by 5am when I arrived. Got my Dan Bing fix. Yummy, reasonably priced, very friendly, they speak some English but menu was only Chinese. Still able to get what I wanted easily.

On the first day I went to a breakfast restaurant in Taiwan, the scallion pancakes were delicious, you must eat them while they are hot!
