Amazing food and quick service. Very easy way to order as well, great if you don’t know a lot of the language since you can easily translate the menu and mark what you want. Their soy bean milk was amazing and the bao were perfect and full of juice. I would go here again for quick delicious breakfast.

There are numerous cafes serving traditional Chinese breakfast all over Taipei. Jia Xiang Dou Jiang Dian is a standout. The food is freshly prepared. The you tiao(dou fritters) are not oily and go well with the dou jiang. The egg pancake is also excellent. There is always a long line for takeaway every morning. You may have to wait for a table, but I have always gotten a table within 5-10minutes.

Local place for soy milk, youtiao, and breads! My mother-in-law from China 100% approves. Menu is only in Chinese. If you want to sit down, just go inside, grab a menu and write what you want then give it to them. Cash only. Favorite thing to order is the green onion bread with youtiao
