Songshan District, Taipei City｜永和豆漿

Shown and introduced by my good Taiwanese friend. This is a definite local diner and language is a challenge. But if you are adventurous, I urge any tourists to try and you will not be disappointed.

A solid neighborhood Chinese breakfast chain. Pan fried meat buns, omelette, soy bean drink are all 👌. Highly recommended if you want a quick breakfast fix at an extremely affordable pricing. A full on breakfast meal for 1 person would be in the range of $3 - $4 USD equivalent. While the place may look like a hole, breakfast here is as good as any other place. IMO you don't need to pay a lot for quality eats here in Asia. You tend to pay for the ambiance at more upscale, Michelin grade places, not the food itself.

Still my go to spot for Taiwanese breakfast in the Songshan area. Dining in is pretty no frills, but that's not a knock against the store, just setting expectations. Of course, you can just take it to go and focus on the tasty food from the comfort of your home.
