Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City｜越式素食 歓喜吃素

Very delicious Vietnamese vegetarian food, the hand roll is very refreshing and will fill you up, the hot and sour tomato rice noodle is also delicious and super filling, the curry is sweet but the lemongrass taste is very Thai, the fried spring roll is filled with mashed taro for dessert, glutinous rice Onigiri is fun to eat, and it's just right for three people to share as a snack. The staff inside are all young, shy but kind, and can speak Chinese. The environment is clean and tidy without the smell of oil consumption or oily smoke. It is rare to see an excellent vegetarian restaurant in Taoyuan, and even parents like it. I hope all vegetarian friends can give more support to these young people who are working hard in other places.

This spot was very delicious, you can tell the boss makes very clear effort making sure the taste of her food is paired well, adding the usual vietnamese mints and leafy herbs to her dishes that are common in vietnam but not as common in most taiwanese vietnamese spots. if you enjoy well paired flavors, you would enjoy eating here. the vegan aspect is a bonus on top of all of it. i had the spring rolls (non fried ones) and the cold noodle salad, unfortunately don’t have a photo to share with you.

Simple and refreshing, the lettuce hand rolls are delicious, the combination tastes just right, the portion is a little small, the rice is delicious, the lemongrass tofu is also good, I recommend giving it a try!
