East District, Chiayi City｜熊姐煎餃

This is one of my favourite places in Chiayi. They serve up griddle fried dumplings (jian jiao) with a twist. The top quality and incredibly juicy pork is seasoned with different spices such as cumin, kimchi, or szechuan peppercorns. The dumpling skins are coloured according to the seasoning. For example, the cumin dumplings are dyed green (with natural spinach water). The beef noodles here are also great and I adore the hot and sour soup. The people who run this place are super friendly.

Nice atmosphere. Warm and friendly. Eat in kitchen. Hurry clean. Necessarily so. Whole wheat dumplings made to order. Delicious not expensive at all.
