Wow!! We arrived without a booking, on a bicycle, looking a bit hot and tired. The super friendly team made a place for us and put together a "simple lunch". It was the best food we have had in Taiwan - beautifully presented, so tasty and as my husband can't eat wheat the traditional food was perfect. The millet rolls in particular were just so good!! Having the local food culture explained was the icing on the cake. Thank you for making us welcome and thank you for the excellent food 🚲🚲🇬🇧

A small family owned restaurant. The husband is Aboriginal Paiwan and the wife speaks some english. Very friendly. The food introduces some local aboriginal flavor like millet wine, Millet pudding, Roselle tea, special locally grown sweet potato, and bamboo rice. The Caesar salad and steak with eggs were delicious! The ginger cinnamon roll was also nice. We called in to make reservations before going.

Very good, original, indigenious Taiwanese food. Very accomodating service too (you should book because it is very popular but we didn't know and they still served us!)
